We began the day with these biscuits.
The kids wore their red, white, and blue.
"The Gang" enjoyed some quality playground time.
Later we made our way up the river
to get a treat from one of the vendors.
Westgate hosted a half-catered, half-potluck
meal with fun activities for the kids.
We could not have asked for a better day:
good weather, good friends, good times.

glad to see you are enjoying all the boston history while you have it. when i moved to boston i told jeff it would be so hard to teach about history because they didn't have the native american history that california did...he just looked at me and said, seriously?? apparently i needed to brush up on my national history in addition to massachusetts's history.
